In 2026, Tarangire costs $53.10 per adult per day to enter in low season and $59.00 in peak season ($17.70 per child), with an overnight stay inside the park adding a $47.20 adult concession fee per night plus a $16.16 per vehicle daily fee. For two adults in their own private vehicle staying inside the park, government fees run about $108 to $114 per adult per day. Lodges near Tarangire also tend to price below their Serengeti equivalents, so it is one of the better-value parks on the Northern Circuit.

Children aged 5 to 15 pay $17.70 per day for entry, against $53.10 to $59.00 for an adult, and $11.80 per night for the overnight concession, against $47.20 for an adult. Children under 5 are generally exempt. The ages and rates are set by TANAPA and we pass them through at cost.
Do you need to stay overnight in Tarangire?
Not necessarily. Many itineraries visit Tarangire as a full day from a lodge just outside the park, which avoids the overnight concession fee but still incurs the daily entry and vehicle fees. Staying inside the park adds the $47.20 concession per adult per night but buys you early-morning and late-afternoon game drives when the park is quietest.
