About

Simbavati Musabi Plains is a small, exclusive camp set on a scenic hill inside the Serengeti National Park, with long views across the open Musabi Plains toward the Grumeti River. Opened in 2025, it is one of the newest camps in the western Serengeti and among the most intimate, with just six tents.

The western corridor is prime migration country, and the camp is well placed for the herds as they move through on their annual circuit, as well as for the resident wildlife of the central and western plains. Five luxury safari tents and one luxury family tent are finished with king beds that convert to twins, en-suite bathrooms with outdoor showers and private decks.

With only six tents, the camp keeps a quiet, private feel, and its hilltop setting gives it some of the best views of any camp in the area. It is a refined base for game drives deep inside the park.
