The Classic Hybrid

The Northern Circuit, then three days on the Indian Ocean.

The journey

This is the trip that gets booked more than any other on the platform. Six days on the Northern Circuit — Tarangire elephants, Seronera plains, the Crater floor — then a short flight to Zanzibar and three nights on the Indian Ocean to let the safari settle in your head before the long flight home. The most-requested Tanzania safari and Zanzibar beach combination on the calendar, and the cleanest answer to the question first-time clients always ask first.

The route opens in Tarangire under the baobabs, where the dry-season elephant herds gather along the river and the lion typically sleep in plain sight on the bank. Three Seronera nights follow for the central Serengeti plains, the resident prides at the kopjes, and the optional balloon at dawn. A closing day on the Crater rim seals the safari with the Big Five inside the caldera. Then it's east — a short flight from Manyara airstrip to ZNZ — and three beach nights to slow down, swim, eat well and sleep in.

Every camp on the safari is yours to choose, the Zanzibar coast and lodge are yours to pick, and the activities at every stop are yours to layer in. The safari can be elevated and the beach simple, or the other way around — every combination is on the table. Park fees, lodge nights and vehicle days are itemised before you book, the way a brochure-led operator can never afford to be. Year-round, with the same monsoon soft-flagging as our beach-only route.
